Saturday 21st
Early 3am start, 3:30 departure and a two hour drive to Folkestone. We mined Flexiplus for breakfast and lunch, yum yum.
French motorways as good as always but much busier than October, and notably there were significant queues at the EV charge points.
We did a very quick supermarket stop for essentials (wine) and continued up the mountain.
As we passed through Tannings and started the drive up we could tell we were up for a much snowier Morzine than we’d experienced for the last few years.
12 hours door to door we got to the apartment around 4:30. Time to erect the tree and make a simple pasta dinner then bed!

Sunday 22nd
It was a rainy day so after a bit of a lie in we decided to drive to Ardents car park and then take the gondola up to Linderettes. We did a few runs, but the visibility was pretty poor so after a couple of hours we headed back. Lots of snow had fallen while we skied to the journey back was quite slow and when we got to our short road, it hadn’t been cleared and was a bit slidey taking us about an hour to get up it with a combination of digging, gritting, pushing and wheel spinning!
We had a defrosted chilli for dinner and played some overcooked.
