After a few years of rescheduling we finally managed our summer holiday with the Flemings and DeNapolis to Croatia! We booked a large house with six bedrooms, a pool, a pool table and a large dining table for games.
We optimised for the cheapest flights so flew out and back out on Wednesdays! The DeNaps and us got a party bus and the Flemings hired a small car. The journey from Split to the house was interesting, with lots of traffic and windy narrow roads.
The house had a rule of no pool action after 9pm, but the girls snuck down and did some late night swimming.
The first day was mostly spent chilling around the house and pool and in the evening we took a trip down to the beach – Dave and I choosing to walk while the others took the Party Bus. The walk was questionable as it was incredibly hot and neither of us handle the heat very well. We had a couple of beers on the beach though so it worked out in the end.
